THE LIST was founded in March 2016 by entrepreneur Andreas Skorski, who started his first tech company in Germany at the age of 17 and has since successfully founded and invested in several lifestyle and tech startups, and started as a pure marketplace model. Skorski came up with the idea of creating THE LIST, when he realized that most luxury retailers were not able to set up their own e-commerce and reach customers globally due to the complex requirements for technology, fulfillment, and marketing.
